- We offer guidance on the best Rest Camps in Kruger, which roads to drive for game viewing, which Picnic sites are best for a bite and which Units/Bungalows/Safari Tents at the rest Camps are suited best for you
- We will advise where to stock up on Supplies for the duration of your Trip

VEHICLE DETAILS:
Our off-road motorhome, the Discoverer FunX, is built on a rugged Nissan NP300 4×4 chassis. It has luxuries unseen in off-road models like a full kitchen and an on-board toilet. A favourite among those discoverers that go far into the bush. Clever touches to reduce the centre of gravity factor were to lower the roof height with 8cm and replace all top cupboards with canvas structures.

ITINERARY
DAY 1:
- Arrive at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport
- You will be met by a Mhala Safaris Guide at Arrivals
- Our Guide will then transfer you to our depot where you will collect your vehicle – Discoverer FunX 4 x 4
- Receive your Welcome Pack which will contain all your Reservation Confirmations, Maps & Planned Routes, General Info of your Trip
- Our Guide will also give you a briefing and discuss the trip with you before you depart
- Self-Drive to Hazyview
- Check in at Kruger Adventure Lodge (Safari Tent Accommodation)
- A 3 Course Dinner will be included at the Lodge
DAY 2:
- Breakfast Included at the Lodge
- Check out and Depart toward the Scenic Panorama Route
- Visit: Graskop Gorge, The Pinnacle Rock, God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Berlin Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, 3 Rondawels and Blyde River Canyon
- Continue Onward to Hoedspruit Town
- Check into Leopard’s Lair Bush Lodge, Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate
- Go out for Dinner (we will provide a few excellent options for you)
DAY 3:
- Breakfast will be included at the Lodge
- Check out
- Stock up on Food supplies, Drinks and Alcoholic Beverages at Hoedspruit Pick n Pay store just outside of the Wildlife Estate
- Drive through to Kruger National Park, where you will enter the Park at Phalaborwa Gate (about an hours Drive from Hoedspruit)
- NOW WE ARE ON SAFARI
- Enjoy the drive through Kruger National Park on Route to Letaba Rest Camp, where you will be spending your next 3 nights!
- Check in at Letaba Rest Camp, Camping Site. Please find details of the Rest Camp in your Welcome Pack
- We suggest a traditional SA Braai (BBQ)
*KRUGER CAMP SITES: All the Camp Sites have communal, clean & tidy Ablution Facilities as well as Communal Kitchens for all Campers*
DAY 4-6:
- Letaba Rest Camp / Camp Site
- Find info in your Welcome Pack on which Roads to take for Game Drive, Where to Stop for breaks etc.
- Take time to Visit the Elephant Museum, situated between the Reception Area and Main Restaurant Area at Letaba
DAY 6:
- Check out
- Drive Down to Satara Rest Camp
- Make a day of your trip, with a Breakfast / Brunch Stop at Olifants Rest Camp. Stunning Views over the Olifants River
- Check in at Satara Rest Camp: Camp Site – Please find details of Satara Rest Camp in your Welcome Pack
DAY 7-9:
- Satara will be your home for the next 3 days
- Satara Surrounds is very well known for its’ White Lions of Kruger National Park. They are often seen in the area, so keep an ear and eyes out for these special Lions
DAY 9:
- Check out
- Drive down to Skukuza Rest Camp (Biggest Camp In Kruger)
- Lunch Stop at Tsokwane Picnic Site is a must!
- Check in to Skukuza Rest Camp – Camping Site

DAY 10 & 11:
- There are many thing to do and see in the Rest Camp itself, and some excellent Game viewing Routes in the area. Please check you Welcome Pack for Details
DAY 11:
- And so we get to the end of your Trip
- Check out and Depart back to Johannesburg
- You will exit the Park at Malelane Gate for the most convenient route back to Johannesburg
- Hand Back your Vehicle at our Depot
- You will be transferred back to the Airport from the Depot for your return/Onward flight
- Please consider booking your Return/Onward flight around 20:00 Local Time. This will then leave you enough time to get back to the airport in time and without Rush
